1.CRI: The "Family Name"

Color Rendering Index (CRI) isn't a single number; it’s the entire system used to measure how accurately a light source reveals colors compared to sunlight. It covers 15 specific test colors (R1–

R15).

2.Ra: The "Core Average"

When you see "CRI 80" or "CRI 90" on a spec sheet, you are actually looking at the Ra value.

What it is: The average score of the first 8 colors (R1–R8).

The Baseline: For professional indoor environments, Ra > 80 is the standard. For high-end retail or galleries, aim for Ra > 90.
